Terms and Conditions

Welcome to IO Italian Osteria. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, your dining experience at our locations in Singapore, Bangkok, and Pattaya, and your booking of our Extra Services (including Catering, Private Home Chef, and Home Wine Tastings).

By making a reservation, booking an event, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Restaurant Reservations and Seating

  • Booking Confirmation: Reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or SMS from us.
  • Grace Period: We hold tables for a grace period of 15 minutes past the reserved time. If you anticipate being late, please contact the specific location directly. After 15 minutes without notice, we reserve the right to release the table to waitlisted guests.
  • Large Parties: For groups of [Insert Number, e.g., 8] or more, a credit card hold or deposit may be required to secure the booking.
  • Cancellations: We kindly ask that you provide at least [Insert Hours, e.g., 24] hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows for large parties may result in the forfeiture of your deposit or a cancellation fee.

2. Extra Services: Catering, Home Chef & Events

The following terms apply specifically to our off-site and bespoke event services:

  • Booking and Deposits: To secure a date for Catering, Private Home Chef, or Home Wine Tastings, a non-refundable deposit of [Insert Percentage, e.g., 50%] of the estimated total cost is required. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
  • Final Guest Count: The final guaranteed number of guests must be provided at least [Insert Days, e.g., 7] days prior to the event. You will be billed for this guaranteed number or the actual number of attendees, whichever is greater.
  • Menu Selection: Final menu choices and dietary requirements must be confirmed at least [Insert Days, e.g., 7] days prior to the event.
  • Site Requirements (Home Chef): For Private Home Chef services, the client must provide a suitable, safe, and reasonably equipped kitchen space. Our team will verify kitchen requirements during the consultation phase.
  • Cancellations for Extra Services: If an event is canceled by the client less than [Insert Days, e.g., 14] days prior to the scheduled date, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations made less than [Insert Hours/Days, e.g., 72 hours] prior may require full payment of the estimated cost to cover procured ingredients and scheduled labor.

3. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

  • Notification: We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Guests must notify us of any specific requirements at the time of booking or event consultation.
  • Cross-Contamination: While we take strict precautions to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchens handle major allergens including gluten, dairy, nuts, and seafood. We cannot guarantee that any dish is 100% free from trace allergens. Guests with severe allergies dine at their own risk.

4. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

  • Currency: Prices for Thailand locations are quoted in Thai Baht (THB). Prices for the Singapore location are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
  • Taxes and Service Charge: All menu prices are subject to applicable government taxes (e.g., VAT or GST) and a standard service charge, unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. For Extra Services and events, bank transfers may be accepted by prior arrangement. The final balance for events is due on the day of the event, or as otherwise outlined in your specific event contract.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, menus, photographs, logos, and graphics, is the property of IO Italian Osteria and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IO Italian Osteria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, your dining experience, or our catering services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the specific IO Italian Osteria venue or service is located (either the Kingdom of Thailand or the Republic of Singapore), without regard to conflict of law principles.
